RENEWALS
The Home Builders Licensure Board (HBLB) is now renewing homebuilder
licenses on the Internet. In August and September, the Board mails a
series of direct mail pieces designed to inform all licensees about
online renewals, as well as provide a method for licensees to request
the old-fashioned paper renewal packages. This series of mailers
contains a card that can be returned to the HBLB to request paper
renewal packages. These returnable cards are designed solely for those
who don’t have Internet access or can’t find someone who has Internet
access to help them renew. Online license renewals are by far the
easiest, most convenient, fastest and most accurate way for Alabama’s
homebuilders and remodelers to renew their licenses each year.
In addition to online renewals, homebuilders and remodelers can also
take advantage of the online credit report ordering offered by Holloway
Credit Solutions, LLC. A link is provided on the renewal page directing
you to the credit report order form, and a check sheet appears to ensure
that the entire process has been completed with no errors or omissions.
